Message: New paint, new pergo floors, remodeled bathroom; friendly staff. Nothing hiding under the bed ;). I respect upgraded CLEAN bathrooms! Great overall for the value- $80! Nearby a authentic restaurant & at least 1 casino I can see. It’s not near a truck stop, which is common for Interstate 80 hotels. However, the front doors are loud starting at 6ish AM. These rooms have been cleaned up a lot since we last stayed a year or 2 ago.

Message: We needed a stop in the middle of a long drive home. We found this Americas Best Value Inn to stay. The room has been resently remodeled so it's clean with a great bed, nice flooring, fresh look and a good sized bathroom. The mirror can defrost itself and has a soft light frame. So this was a great place to stay.. I docked service one because we had to go to another hotel a half a block down to check in. That was a bit inconvenient, but not enough to lower a star. It was the service desk person being unfriendly and not welcoming in the least.. As far as the room, the only improvement needed is somewhere to hang clothes and set suitcases off the floor. Otherwise, we loved our restful stay.

Message: IMPRESSED! From the outside it looks like a shabby old motel, so I was quite surprised when I opened my door to see a very new looking bed, flooring, paint and very nice bathroom with a huge shower! *No weird smells. *Decent sized mini fridge and clean microwave. * The shower huge! * Touch screen vanity mirror. * THE BED WAS SO COMFY. Including pillows and blankets! Walking distance to all kinds of fun. I had a great time going dancing Saturday night at Key's Poolhall.. This was a gem. Especially compared to any other hotel/motel I've stayed at for the same price.

Message: The rooms are clean but a little small. They allow pets but you have to walk around the block to find a place for the dogs to potty. These rooms also do not have any type of security locks other than the key lock. All that being said, the young lady at the check in desk was very helpful and professional. The price was good and we would stay here again.

Message: Of the three ABVs I stayed in on my trip from Illinois to California, this was definitely the nicest of all. Very modern updates, a very nice room. Walls are thin though so you will hear the neighbors. Very reasonable price. Parking lot is very small and will not accommodate moving trucks and the lake. Only a personal vehicle. However, on the side of the building, you can park a moving vehicle even with a car trailer on the street.
